blankets & windows

blankets

I wear them in all my winter
I will wear them in other winters

they are my skin against the grey landscape

do you have a blanket that is skin?

would you ever wash it?

windows

see how the wood weathers different
the choice in curtains
the differing views
of windows
some windows walk down the street and birds
fly out the opening

my birds are in the sky

they have their contentment

my windows have rain
on the glass

which make rainbows

  1. Pat Cegan says:

I turn in my pen for I can never see the world with your eyes, yet, my vision must have some vision for I keep writing. ❤
